After the sale of Virgin Radio to Times of India owner TIML. We have now reinvented ourselves, with a brand new name and a whole new attitude. Just like David Bowie became Ziggy Stardust and Prince decided to be a symbol, we wanted a new look so we’ve shaken things up a bit, added a little spice and created a brand spanking new radio station that will blow your socks off. In March of 2007, Absolute Radio placed 12th in the Sunday Times 100 best small companies to work for…..here are some of the reasons:
The VIP area at the V Festival, backstage at U2, watching a live session from Paul Weller in the station itself……….That's not the listeners, that would be some of the many reasons for working at Absolute Radio. With us you get involved in anything and everything, and the DJ's will all know your name. You could be responsible for putting live promotions onto air, or putting together a deal for big on-air sponsorship partnerships.
We are a radio station in every sense, not a 'sales house'. Everyone who works here has a huge passion for making Absolute an even better radio station, and we always look for this quality in anyone we employ. As the company is relatively small, the opportunity to impress here is very visible. We also pride ourselves on developing all individuals, and every single person who works for Absolute has their own very specific development plan.
If you love music, and have a real passion to succeed we'd love to talk to you.
